Warm

Do you ever get that tingly feeling in a sort of sense that everything is in place and you are happy and content with everything? No? Well, its understandably a rare emotion that sadly lasts for a couple of minutes and painfully fades away...That exact feeling is a feeling that I long for and wish for it to last longer--the tingly feeling of warmth.

When I say that I prefer the warmer weather over the cooler weather, I am not necessarily pointing out the temperature but myself. When you say "...under the weather," you mean to talk about you being ill. When I say "warmer weather," I am talking exactly about that tingly feeling, that warm fuzzy feeling of happiness- I want that feeling and I want it now. I want to be able to walk down the street and be warm enough to motivate myself to being confident and have a mean walk where everyone would want to aspire to be me to feel this longing feeling. 

Chase your dreams, explore, do what you love, smile, be kind, love (yourself), be yourself, and overall, be happy and content. All of this plus more will eventually put you in a place of warmth and it being "contagious", you will teach others to learn how to be warm.

Grace Nguyen blog was one of the first blogs that I initially had become obsessed with. Before her blog, I was completely infatuated with her Instagram and aspired to be her through her pictures; Grace goes on these little adventures and I often have a spark jealousy over her because of that.

Through the lens of the camera, its not hard to recognize that Grace does seem like a shy and somewhat introverted person but yet when you get to know her, shes super outgoing, weird (in a good way), and funny, and so on. Not to mention that she really is super nice and appreciative-- I once made an edit of her and she thanked me for it probably like a billion times. She just overall seems like the type of person you would want to be friends with and have little coffee dates with and walk around aimlessly with- shes that type of person.

Not to mention,  her blog is impeccable! Her clothing is by far, (what us "kids" say these days), GOALS! I always tend to go back on her blog to find similar clothing items because who wouldn't want to dress like Grace? Need I mention her photos, often taken by Nikos?--Amazing.
She can honestly rock anything and she in my eyes is my favorite model.

Grace overall is purely the sweetest and gorgeous girl ever and her blog is and will always be one of my favorites. xx

Monophobia

Monophobia: fear of being alone. 

You feel alone, your heart is desolate, and your vision is impaired because of everything from the past. You let all of that haunt you and you feel it is right to plaster a smile on your face in hopes that it will permanently stay there forever without realizing that you have completely gone mad.  

Mad. Something that us teenagers (and many other people) are labeled as because of our constant "depressed state." However...have you ever thought that we are all mad? You lose someone, something and you suddenly are depressed and you give up on everything- we never realize we ever had memories with it, some don't have any memories.

We don't even look forward but backwards in fear that we too will be lost and the we will cause the pain of someone else to feel alone.

Do this: live in the moment so that monophobia is something that will not ultimately make you completely mad or in this case somewhat normal-mad is the new normality.

Dedication Post: FloLovesClothes

Florencia, or flolovesclothes is one of my absolute favorite fashion blogger. I decided that with all her hard work and time that she puts into creating such an amazing blog that captivates her readers, she deserves a dedication post. (I will try to do these a couple of times every month to commemorate the amazing talent out there).

I think we, well if you are a directioner can not lie about the fact that she looks like Eleanor  Calder. However, besides that, she really is a beautiful girl with an impeccable style; I am not lying when I say that I would love to steal her closet. She has that sort of casual and simple style, a bit street stylish, paired with a bit of an edge which is what catches my eye being as though that is the type of clothes I wear. 

She seems like a very sweet girl and I bet she would make an amazing friend as well. All around, she is just amazing. Love you Flo! x

Gemma Styles Inspired (The Craft) Hair!

The photo above is of Gemma Styles, the older sister of Harry Styles from One Direction, was featured in One Directions hair stylist, Louise Teasdales, book, The Craft. When I had first seen these pictures of her, I fell in love with both her makeup look and hair look. Now, the makeup look was what was talked about in the book so, I decided I would give my take on her HAIR:

1. Start off with second or third day (unwashed) hair.
2. Brush out the tangled mess that is planted on your head.

3. If you have greasy hair or want to add volume, use the Batiste Dry Shampoo: Wild Sassy and Daring.

4. Part your hair down the middle.

5. Use the Frizz Ease Heat Defeat Protective Spray.

6. Using whatever hair curler you want, making sure its the biggest wand, loosely curl your hair from your ears and down.

7. Once the curls have cooled down, use a wide tooth comb, to loosen up the curls.

8. Use the Bed Head Hard Head Hairspray and take the comb, similar to the gray one in the photo above, and tease your hair. 

9. Spray your hair with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray.

10. Optional: Use John Frieda Frizz Ease Expert Finish Polishing Serum to smooth out any flyaway hair.

Done! I hope it turned out great and always feel free to change it up a bit by adding and taking out products.  Also keep in mind that you are not obligated to using these products, use what you can get near you! Xx

2015!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone was safe and had an amazing time! I stayed home, listened to music, and waited for the ball to drop at midnight in Times Square via the television.  Despite whether you were indoors all warm and cozy or if you were outside, I assume freezing your butts off, I hope it was night to remember. Remember, we only get this night once a year ;)!

I just wanted to let you all know that whatever happened that had upset or put you down in 2014, always have hope! You are the only person that can change your whole day around. 2015 is finally here so try to make a change; whether that is if you dealt with a breakup or dealt with a death or whatever it was, it’s now in the past and you can’t change that. What you can change is your attitude and mood. You know, someone- Shay Carl from the Shaytards, once told me to choose happiness, so in his wise words, to me and now to you, choose happiness because that’s most important.

If you did have a great 2014, where you accomplished many things, congrats to you! 2015 will be bigger and even better.

I send my best wishes for you all in 2015 and remember to choose happiness! Love you! Xx
